Get Into London Theatre - Until 10 February

Get Into London Theatre is back for its 11th year, offering sensational ticket deals to over 50 shows at £10, £15, £25 and £35.

The Stage Events - From February

Booking is now open for The Stage's brand new programme of expert-led, practical ‘How to’ sessions. The programme is designed to guide, inspire and empower career development within the entertainment industry, through an accessible and affordable format.

Forthcoming sessions include advice on how to nail auditions, as well as how to get the skills and experience to compete in a competitive industry. Full details can be found on The Stage's website.


London Cabaret Awards

London Cabaret Awards - 16 February

The first celebration of London's cabaret scene is taking place at the Battersea Barge on 16 February. 

The evening is compered by London Cabaret star Jamie Anderson and features awards as far ranging as Unsung Hero to Best Burlesque. Judges include Cabaret experts Ben Walters and Lisa Lee.

A limited number of tickets are available to the public through the London Cabaret Awards website.


Royal Academy of Dance summer courses - July-August

Throughout July and August the Royal Academy of Dance are running a series of courses for young dancers, giving students the chance to develop new skills, hone existing ones and have fun dancing.

On offer are week long Summer Schools, aimed at 8 to 18 year olds, that will stretch and develop students with fun classes in a wide range of dance styles, and the Performance Course, which is aimed at slightly older students (12+) and culminates in public performances of original work at the Academy’s Genée studio.

Shakespeare: Staging The World - 19 July - 25 November

The British Museum is collaborating with the RSC to produce a unique exhibition that takes a look at how London emerged as a world city 400 years ago.

The exhibition will draw on some of the British Museum's world renowned collection and examine them through the lens of Shakespeare's plays; exploring how the London playhouse was a window to the outside world that helped shape our sense of national identity.
