Matthew Bourne’s Play Without Words makes its debut at Sadler’s Wells with its first major restaging since it was originally produced at the National Theatre.
Celebrating New Adventures’ 25th anniversary, Play Without Words is brimming with Bourne’s sleek and captivating choreography that has made him so prolific with dance audiences.
Set in Chelsea in 1965, this tale centres around a privileged couple whose new servant has them competing in a domestic power struggle for territory and sexual domination.
