But don’t fear as Kids Week will return in 2012. Dates will be confirmed later in the year.
With 73, 000 tickets sold and thousands of families having participated in more than 60 activities, workshops and events across London, Kids Week 2011 was a fantastic success.
Kids Week is all about encouraging young people to get involved in theatre. During Kids Week, a child aged 16 and under can go free to any participating show when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Parents can also purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half price per transaction.
In addition, Kids Week offers a fantastic range of free activities, workshops and events. Whether it’s an energetic dance workshop with the cast of Mamma Mia!, a behind the scenes tour at the Old Vic theatre, or a jump rope workshop with Legally Blonde The Musical!, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
