Jack And The Beanstalk

Lyric Hammersmith, King Street, London

Jack And The Beanstalk is a glitter-filled festive feast for all the family. Get ready to boo the baddies, cheer the hero, sing along and double up with laugher at the Lyric Hammersmith’s new panto dame.

A classic panto tale, Jack And The Beanstalk tells the story of Jack, who is tricked into trading his cow for some magic beans. But the beans grow into a beanstalk leading to a magical land ruled by a giant!

This production of Jack And The Beanstalk is written by a quartet of eclectic writers: Richard Bean is one of the UK’s most prolific current playwrights whose last work for the National Theatre, England People Very Nice, courted controversy and hit the headlines; Jocelyn Jee Esien is best known for her TV comedy work in Little Miss Jocelyn and 3 Non Blondes; Joel Horwood is the writer behind cult musical Mikey The Pikey; and Morgan Lloyd Malcolm is one third of comedy trio Trippplicate.
