Romeo And Juliet

London Coliseum, St Martin's Lane, London

The world’s greatest love story, Romeo And Juliet, is told by English National Ballet through Rudolf Nureyev’s inventive choreography with sumptuous costumes and sets that transport audiences to the grandeur and bustle of Renaissance Venice.

Prokofiev’s exhilarating and memorable Romeo And Juliet score, played by the Orchestra of English National Ballet, is the very heartbeat of this tragic tale of love and destiny.

Rudolf Nureyev’s award-winning production of Romeo And Juliet was especially created for English National Ballet in 1977 to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee. The Company has since performed it worldwide to critical acclaim.
