The Ugly Duckling

Polka Theatre, 240 The Broadway, London

The Ugly Duckling is an adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale suitable for young children aged 1-5.

It's summertime and there's one egg left to hatch. Out tumbles the biggest, strangest duckling you've ever seen. As he waddles, swims and flaps his way into the big wide world he feels lost and lonely - will he ever find where he belongs?

A playful and tender production, this adaptation brings the story to life using music and puppets.
