Set in the early 20th century, Ragtime tells the story of three different groups of Americans.

Set in the early 20th century, Ragtime tells the story of three different groups of Americans, the suburban WASPs, African Americans and Eastern European immigrants. As their different stories intertwine, the characters brush up against historical figures including Harry Houdini, Booker T Washington, JP Morgan and Henry Ford.
Ragtime received its London premiere in 2003, when it opened at the Piccadilly theatre and was subsequently nominated for eight Olivier Awards.
