Wah! Wah! Girls is an exciting new British Bollywood musical set in the East End of London in 2012.
Wah! Wah! Girls is inspired by the Mujra dancers who, for generations, have used the potent mix of dance and song to entertain the rich and powerful.
A passionate tale of love against the odds, Wah! Wah! Girls follows unstoppable girls as they uncover deep secrets and create unexpected dreams.
Wah! Wah! Girls is written by the acclaimed playwright Tanika Gupta, whose plays include Fragile Land and Sugar Mummies, and features choreography from both Bollywood master Javed Sanadi and leading Kathak choreographer Gauri Sharma Tripathi.
Wah! Wah! Girls plays at the Peacock theatre as part of World Stages London.
