The Theatre Royal Stratford East has given young spoken word artists the chance to work with leading performance poet Kat Francois to produce two nights of lip-smacking, jaw-dropping, tongue-twisting poetry.

  • Access description: Entering the theatre from Theatre Square; there is an automatic door for disabled access with a push button at low level. The box office is immediately on your right. Further into foyer is the lift to all levels with low level controls. Theatre open 30mins before performance. Level access to bar from main entrance through the foyer.
  • Hearing impaired: Hearing loop system, an infra-red Senheisser system and minicom.
  • Guide dogs policy: Guide dogs allowed into auditorium – please book an aisle seat. Alternatively staff are happy to dog-sit.
  • Wheelchairs: Wheelchair accessible box office. 5 wheelchair spaces in the theatre itself in Stalls rows N, G and F. More wheelchairs can be accomodated by prior arrangement with the Theatre Manager (call 020 8534 0310) Lifts to the upper level, wheelchair accessible toilets
  • Disabled toilets: Adapted toilets on all three levels. Ground floor in the bar, 1st and 2nd floors opposite the lift on the right.
  • Food: Caribbean Flavours restaurant serving Caribbean food. Wheelchair access through the theatre foyer.
