Shakespeare’s most outrageous comedy, The Taming Of The Shrew follows the volatile relationship of strong-willed Katherina and her equally determined counterpart Petruchio.
The wealthy Baptista has two daughters, both of whom he wants to be married. The good-natured and demure Bianca has no shortage of offers, but Baptista will only allow her to marry if her sister, the strong-willed and perverse Katherina, does the same. The gold-digging Petruchio, an equally strong-minded bachelor, takes it upon himself to tame Katherina in an attempt to get her to the altar.
