Award winning plawright Mike Bartlett brings one of the most thrilling Olympic stories to the stage in an immersive adrenalin pumping production of Chariots Of Fire.
Based on true events the classic story tells the inspiring tale of two athletes who overcome prejudice and personal strife to compete in the 1924 Paris Olympics. A tale of hope, honour and the beautiful purity of running.
Miriam Buether, one of theatre's leading designers, will transform the Hampstead into its very own stadium, which along with music from the film's legendary score will thrillingly evoke the spirit of the 1924 Paris Olympics.
The production is directed by the Hampstead's Artistic Director Edward Hall, who's work outside the Hampstead includes award winning all-male productions of Shakespeare classics.
