Patience
Gilbert and Sullivan’s satire on the British aesthetic movement of the 1870s is performed by an all-male cast.
Gilbert and Sullivan’s opera is a satire on the British aesthetic movement of the 1870s, which is performed here by an all-male cast.
With typically British humour and sparkling music, Patience is the story of coy lovers and ridiculous poetic jousting for the attention of a pretty young milkmaid who has no interest in poetry.
Director Sasha Regan breathes new life into Patience following her award winning all-male The Pirates of Penzance, which tours Australia in autumn this year, and the critically acclaimed Iolanthe.
