Former Wicked and We Will Rock You star Kerry Ellis leads Murder Ballad, an explosive new musical of passion, deception and obsession at the Arts Theatre.

She is joined in the cast by Ramin Karimloo, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt and Norman Bowman.

Ellis plays Sara, an ambivalent New Yorker torn between her downtown past and her uptown future. Caught in an adulterous love triangle between Tom and Michael, Sara will soon have to make the choice between her dangerous but exciting ex-boyfriend and her steady but reliable husband, with gritty, tragic consequences lying in store.

Placing modern relationships and abandoned dreams under the microscope, Murder Ballad is a razor-sharp tale of betrayal, with blood a certainty to be spilled. But by whom?

Following two hugely successful Off-Broadway runs, the show is written by Julia Jordan with music and lyrics by singer-songwriter Juliana Nash, and promises to offer a sensational new musical to London audiences in the heart of the West End.
