Celebrating their 60th anniversary, the National Youth Theatre compellingly reimagines Shakespeare’s legendary romance Romeo And Juliet in 1950s post war London.

Emerging from the shadow of the second World War, immigration booms, causing brutality, prejudice and a ruthless gang culture to run rife in the capital city.

Teddy girls mixing with teddy boys, the National Youth Theatre REP Company’s latest adaptation retells the classic tale of the vendettas, violence and star crossed lovers like you’ve never seen it before, under the compelling direction of Kate Hewitt.

Following three critically acclaimed seasons, the best of Britain’s young theatrical talent return to the heart of London’s West End with this effervescent take on the enduring Shakespearean play.
