Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire that re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Now one of the Top 20 longest-running musicals in West End history, Wicked was recently voted London’s Best Night Out (2011 Evening Standard Theatre Awards) and has been seen by more 4 million people since it opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in 2006.
Couched amidst iconic tourist attractions such as Buckingham Palace, the Apollo Victoria Theatre is easily accessible being just a 1 minute walk from London Victoria Mainline Station, and adjacent to the Victoria Underground Station, providing immediate access to the wider London network. The nearby Victoria Coach Station supplies further access to the rest of the UK.

- Limited mobility: Rows A and Q in the stalls have the most leg room. There are 3 steps between rows in the auditorium.
- Access description: 4 steps up to the main entrance on Wilton Road. Second main entrance on Vauxhall Bridge Road via a stairlift or up 8 steps. Both entrances have highlighted steps and handrails on either side. Box Office in foyer. Stalls down 29 steps from foyer. Stairlift or 13 steps up to the Dress Circle from the foyer. Theatre opens one hour before the performance.
- Hearing impaired: Induction loop and infra-red system in the auditorium.
- Guide dogs policy: 4 guide dogs allowed inside auditorium - aisle seats are best. Staff can also dog sit.
- Wheelchairs: 4 spaces for wheelchair users on either side of the Dress Circle (located a third of the way up) accessed by a platform lift in the foyer. 8 wheelchair transfer seats available in the Dress Circle.
- Toilets: Men’s up 15 steps from row A of the Dress Circle. Women’s up 18 steps. Further toilets at Stalls level.
- Disabled toilets: Adapted toilet off the Foyer.
- Bars: 1 licensed bar. Foyer bar through swing doors from the Box Office. Bar counter is 1.2m high and there is no seating. Drinks may be brought to disabled customers in the auditorium.
