Sub Genre: Music Theatre

Pinocchio may be carved out of wood but he just wants to have fun, all day, every day. As he magically comes to life, Pinocchio soon finds himself caught up in a world of danger and temptation. Will he learn what it takes to be a real boy - before it's too late?

The classic tale is given a fresh, new adaptation by Children's Laureate and Polka theatre patron Michael Rosen, whose numerous books of stories and poetry include No Breathing In Class, You Wait Till I'm Older Than You, We're All Going On A Bear Hunt, Mustard, Custard, Grumble Belly And Gravy, Howler, Snore! and many many more.

Featuring live music and lots of sillyness, Michael Rosen's Pinocchio is a feel-good traditional treat for children, families and puppets with long noses, and especially everyone aged six to 13.
