The British African Theatre Company Tiata Fahodzi presents Tiata Delights 08, its fourth annual new writing initiative, presenting a week of work from emerging and established British African writers.

Over the course of the week, six new plays will receive staged readings by three directors, overseen by Artistic Director Femi Elufowoju, jr. This year’s season opens with a new play written by 2008 Laurence Olivier award-winner Bola Agbaje.

limited mobility: 23 seats in the front row offer the best leg room.

access description: Level access to foyer through automatic sliding doors or through double glass doors opening both ways. Wheelchair users can push a button to open the sliding doors. Box Office with lowered counter in the foyer. Stalls down 6 steps or a sloped walkway. Access to circle via 2 staircases of 27 steps each with handrails on each side. Good signage throughout. The floors in the foyer are concrete.

hearing impaired: Infra-red assisted hearing system in the auditorium and an Induction Loop in the Box Office

guide dogs policy: Allowed into auditorium - please book an aisle seat. Staff are also happy to dog sit.

wheelchairs: 2 spaces for wheelchair/scooter users in the stalls. 8 wheelchair and scooter transfer spaces are available to aisle seats in rows A and B – escorts not required. Theatre also provides 1 wheelchair for loan. Auditorium is carpeted.
