Hackney's popular panto returns for the 2008 festive season.
Set in Hackneytopia, the magical sisters Vanity and Charity let their sibling rivalry get the better of them as they decide to prove who is the strongest witch. Charity sends Mother Goose, a poor farmer about to be evicted, the gift of a magical, golden egg-laying goose called Pricilla.
All of Mother Goose's dreams come true - she is richer than she ever have thought possible, her home is safe and her family is happy. But is it enough? Is Mother Goose satisfied? Can Vanity tempt her with her heart's desire to turn against everyone she loves? Is beauty only skin deep or is it what is inside that counts?
