Twenty years after the release of the now classic Oscar nominated romance, the countdown is now on for the premiere of the musical adaptation featuring a soundtrack by the film’s legendary star, the late Whitney Houston.
With just over a month to go, Heather Headley and Lloyd Owen, who will lead the cast as the egotistical superstar Rachel Marron and Secret Service agent turned bodyguard Frank Farmer, are busy rehearsing for performances from 6 November, under the direction of self-confessed Houston fan and Olivier Award-winning director Thea Sharrock.
