Malcolm James and Matt Connor have taken on the responsibility of terrifying West End audiences as they step into the leading roles in The Woman In Black.
The pair are now starring in the legendary London production at the Fortune Theatre that has been keeping theatregoers glued to their seats in fear for a staggering 26 years.
Adapted from Susan Hill’s cult horror novel, the show brings its story of a young solicitor called to tie up the affairs of a recently deceased woman to life on stage in all its thrilling, spine-tingling glory. Of course, when the woman lived on an isolated island where the locals refuse to go, the spook factor just gets that more… well… spooky.
James will reprise his role as solicitor Arthur Kipps following his recent starring performance on the national tour of the show. Connor will make his West End debut alongside James following a string of regional credits and appearances in television shows including Coronation Street and Hollyoaks.
The Woman In Black is one of 16 shows eligible for this year’s Magic Radio Audience Award at the Olivier Awards 2016 with MasterCard. You have until 12:00 on 11 March to cast your vote to help decide which show is crowned the West End’s most popular long-running show.
