Hit Four Seasons musical Jersey Boys was crowned the 95.8 Capital FM Best West End Show at last night’s Visit London People’s Choice Awards.

The award, which was voted for by Londoners and London tourists, was collected by Ryan Molloy, who plays Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys, and the show’s Executive Producer Julian Stoneman.

Telling the autobiographical tale of American pop group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Jersey Boys opened at the Prince Edward theatre in March 2008.

The show, originally a Broadway success, mixes the band’s many hits, which include Sherry, Walk Like A Man, Big Girls Don’t Cry and December 1963 (Oh What A Night), with the story of how four blue collar boys became one of America’s biggest musical sensations.
